This thread getting out of hand or what?

I hate to say this, but despite the fact that I don't really mind people playing devil's advocate, or arguing senselessly, or making irrational comments ... 

and despite the fact that I really don't support making a think-alike mentality

it seems from my perspective that this user has been more disruptive than Kerotan or Quickrick. 

i know that there's not really any rules being broken. it is just something i felt needed to be expressed.

Certainly hypocrites. People that call out supposed shit posters when they themselves are the biggest shit posters. One of them being already mentioned.

I'll just say this:

No, it isn't about an opinion or something. In fact, I barely even know what the premise of his argument is considering even he admitted he got confused, the argument has just gone in circles so much. I certainly don't want people with different opinions to be banned, I think I was one of the first people to start understanding for instance that Quickrick wasn't really all that bad. I even agree with Fatslob on some things and he has agreed with me.

It's just that, it seems like moderations have become more based around the source of certain problems, rather than clear guideline rule breaking. And nearly all sales or Nintendo discussion he is in is turned into crap....by him. The argument has been made that it is partially the fault of the responders. And I agree with that, but that would potentially be moderating multiple people for the sake of one person posting things they probably know will trigger certain responses.

I wasn't even saying moderation was needed, just a suggestion to look into it for consideration.

The premise of his argument about what the Switch should be considered as is shaky at best and the motivation behind it even moreso.

It has nothing to do with a different opinion. In fact I don't think you get the irony of saying that "this group" is trying to ban others for different opinions on the Switch, in particular. It's not like my opinion on the Switch or it 's games are the norm. You must not know me very well, and that's fine. I can't speak for the others, but what you described is not my intenton. I'm pretty sure I would be banned often if different opinions were not allowed. And I also don't think Quickrick should be banned, he's really pretty harmless. Kerotan probably shouldn't either, but it seems like even the mods disagree on that one *shrug* 

It really has more to do with disturbing the threads. It's one thing if a user is just being ridiculous, it's another when they have to go out of their way to make sure they always appear as right while simultaneously making big arguments specifically against one company for multiple threads and said action always ruins the threads.

Quickrick and Fatslob are not even close honestly .... 

edit: I just realize the irony in saying that Kerotan doesn't try to get others banned  

If someone has a problem with someone then they will report it or put it on this thread. Do you have a problem with a certain person?
