Digital only on PS4/XB1? That's weird, especially since Zombi got a retail release on them.
Rayman Legends coming to Switch is pretty amusing. Can't see that one doing well given the amount of times it's been released already.

I can only hope there is a way to let me upgrade my Digital Rayman Legends on my Wii U then: got it on sale a while back.
The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?
Not a smart move imo. Guessing this will be a ZombiU situation all over again. The game will maybe sell kinda ok on the Switch and fans on other consoles will be disappointed with the graphics and forget about it when it finally releases on the PS4 and XB1.
I'm guessing Ubisoft didn't want to spend much money on this game.
I hope someone is keeping track so we can see what she will get right and what she will get wrong. Still bge2 seems plausible but hopefully Nintendo didnt pay for it or if they did, it wasnt much since they need system sellers, not niche games

Exactly why they need to stop and back non-niche games... If they took all the money they are going to spend backing niche games and poured it onto getting a a port of RDR2 on to the Switch, not only would that get the headlines with the public press, but most likely would also sell a shit ton more systems than all those niche games put together.

Yeah, Im sure a worse looking and running RDR2 will set the Switch on fire. Especially in Japan. Japanese gamers will line up to get DQXI and RDR2...

It's possible they might not have the ability to do so: Nintendo has a lot more connections with Ubisoft than Red Dead's dev, and it may have been offered to Nintendo and refusal could have cost them third party support on the Switch launch they do not want to risk.
