Because POWER IS EVERYTHING! Look how 2 or 3 of them bitched about Assassins Creed coming to the Switch. |
So a handful of people represent the entire userbase ?

Is that so hard to think there is people who dont buy nintendo systems but wants them to have sucess? All the things point to another WiiU situation and another cycle will continue. |
Judging by the content of this post, I assume you're referencing my talking points?
You can always quote or multi-quote my posts if you want to engage with me directly, you know.
Anyway, what's so unlikely about a $250 Nintendo console? Rumors have it hovering around that price point. And I'm sure Nintendo learned its lesson from WiiU, which cost $300 for the base model.
And, again, I never once said radek doesn't have the right to comment. That would be very much against what I believe. I simply questioned his reasoning. Just as you are currently doing to me.
What's great about this forum is the (sometimes contentious) intersection of rival ideas and perspectives. As long as dialogue is civil and respectful then I see no problem with my skepticism of radek, or your skepticism of me. We're all trying to get to some approximation of the truth. I, for one, don't want any opinions shut down. But I do think they can be examined, unpacked, poked and prodded. It's an edifying experience for all involved.
I think a lot of people need to adjust their expectations regarding Switch.
This isn't a PS4/Xbone competitor. Think of it more as a 3DS/Vita successor.
| niceguygameplayer said: That's it. Nintendo will not learn. Another failure is coming out. Sorry to say it guys, but I just don't see any reason to want this unless you are a Nintendo diehard. They need to make a powerful next gen console that can handle modern ports and really good looking 3D Mario. Weaker than Xbox One when PS4 Pro is out and Scorpio is coming soon. That's ridiculous. It might work in Japan, but everywhere else, it will bomb after initial release. It sounds like a slightly more powerful Wii U. If all of this is true, I will buy no Switch or future Nintendo products. |
Why do people try to pretend that Switch is not also the 3DS successor?
3DS+Wii U have sold about 50 million and growing outside of Japan so I don't know why you are assuming Japan is the only market where Switch has potential to do well.
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Not in terms of power; that's what is causing a lot of the disappointment over its specs, many people expected it to rival PS4/Xbone in power, thus they feel let down that it is significantly weaker.

Oh, yeah, totally.
Yeah, you're right.
| Ljink96 said: I'd be surprised if it was able to direct port. But the rumors are, it's still rather easy to port to and that's the most important thing for Switch. It'll take a bit of work to port but nothing that will necessarily need an entire team to do a port. That's what I'm thinking. |
let be real.
Indie sized games will get ported. Old 6th 7th gen games will get easily ported.
But there is no porting a big aaa games, they would have to make it from gorund up for the switch.
