1. Scorpio aims to be the 4K/VR champ versus the PS4/PS4Pro.
2. Anything on Scorpio will also have an XB1 version (excl VR?).
3. 4K(native) on Scorpio scales nicely to 1080p(n) on XB1. (1080 x4= 4K)
4. 1080p on XB1 = playable on Switch.
The current list of 1080p XB1 games isn't huge, Scorpio games at 4K should increase that list.
Anything less than 4K on Pro/Scorpio or 1080p on XB1 will struggle on Switch without heavy downgrades.
1080p/XB1 = 540p+/Switch = 720p/Switch with reduced gfx and/or fps.
Tech specs won't stop Switch from missing out on the next CoD or Minecraft imo, assuming the games industry can still make new 20M sellers.
XB1/PS4@720p, high gfx, cinematic (30fps) games like Assassin's Creed are unlikely without a 4K(n) Scorpio version to scale from. This is as a +tive or -tive depending on taste.
All hail the 4King Scorpio!
TLDR: 4K Scorpio = 720p Switch (reduced gfx and/or fps)
