Peanut did show off this season too, even though it's still not 2013 Faker level. I expect him to be one of the main contender next year.
I'll probably still vote Faker this year.
Unsure about other esports.

To be fair, Faker 2013 level was higher than Faker 2016 level... or it just looked that way.
Hes got a huge name in the league world though.
What about Uzi? didnt like his ADCing? or a guy like Smeb?
I dont really follow the other eSports, but I feel like this pole should have more players from league to pick from :)

Uzi is a fine mechanical player, but he can't fit properly in a team, and overall LPL level is pretty underwhelming on the international once the other teams figure out their cheese and relentless but reckless agression.
I LOVE Smeb, but he wasn't as consistent through the various metas as Peanut was. Overall many other players and teams impressed me this year, but they hardly compare to Faker. If it was a NA only contest, I would definitely consider Hai and Jensen, not only because I'm a huge C9 fan but also because they showed up huge as shotcaller for Hai and as a excellent player on the international scene for Jensen (And Bjergsen did as good as expected on that front, as always).
