So you took one game and tried to make a snarky "oh haha i'm so smart" response with it? When did people based the entirity on the PS4's success on RIME? LOL 

And when did people base the entirity of the Switch's success on Seasons of Heaven?

You don't need to feel oppressed, calm down, all we're saying here is that one indie game that was talked about a lot in the last few weeks and its developer might be more shady than what was showed. We can say that without being mean anti-Nintendo haters, right? Or do we need to be absolutely hyped by everything more or less connected with the Switch without ever thinking beyond the trailers and marketing? 

If so, ignore my posts and replace them by "OMG this game will be so awesome, game of the generation for sure, it will obviously be the highlight of the Switch's launch line-up!". I won't be mad about it ^^.

If not, this is a French game, a French developer, advertised by a French website with several French articles about it. Sorry if the French users are bringing and translating the news here. Don't need to shoot the messengers, even if you don't like the message.

Exactly. Rumors are making up the minds of potential customers as we speak and Nintendo is just dead silent. I don't know if they're being silent because they're just insane or they know what they have is very convincing and worth the wait.

The way I feel is that the game never looked that good or intersting to begin with, but yes, people ARE judging the Switch based on this game. It's a sticky situation. On the one hand most people probably wouldn't be upset if the PS4 or Xbox One exclusives were using PC footage for an INDIE game because they expect that quality already on their consoles. It's unfair...BUT on the other hand it's completely reasonable. People have expectations of console power that Nintendo don't meet...so people are using it to judge the system. Makes sense.

Also lol i'm not even pro nintendo dude. I'm just conflicted on the switch. Agreee with most of the criticisms, just think we need to wait till the event. I'm not a dickrider, didn't even play my first zelda till last year lol. Don't assume things. 

I've seen so many people on so many websites reading the Eurogamer news and saying "well, I won't buy a Switch, I'm out"

People trying to spread rumors of a handheld being as powerful as an Xbox one thought they were "helping the switch", and look at what happens now, the Switch turns out to be exactly what it always was (if you use logic), and people are disapointed. This could have been prevented, but Nintendo was again too dumb to do the right thing, and the fans were as always too caught up in their own illusions to stop and think that the Switch can't be a handheld and have cutting edge graphics.

And now we have the ones saying "I don't care about graphics" and the others saying "Well we don't know, Eurogamers could be wrong, they don't have all informations"

I read a comment somewhere from a people saying that the switch could still very much be 2Tflops. Some people just needs to be slapped...

Everyone is talking about this game and judging it because it's the only news we have right now.

After the official Switch's reveal, everyone will forget this game and we'll just wait for further news (or lack of news). The "PC footage" part is most of all because when the first images released, a lot of people said "OMG it's beautiful, you see, the Switch will be powerful enough for graphics like this!". We still didn't have any info about the specs at the time. And now we know that the Switch likely won't be powerful enough for this, and that the game isn't even in development on the console right now, that the hype is based on almost nothing and the game might even be a vaporware. It's just a really short and wild ride around this and we have nothing else to talk about or analyze, so the debates are obviously about this game.

That's also why I talked about RIME, it's almost the same situation. A few beautiful images, a lot of hype when the game was announced, and then nothing, nothing, nothing... Until the game got dropped by Sony and appeared to be a really shady vaporware. Seasons of Heaven has the same kind of announcement, hype and then rumors than RIME, but a lot faster, so we'll see how it ends.

Oh we have this kind of thread a lot, because we already know that 3rd party developer games is a multiplat games and were made on PC as well. I guess you late for the party. 

Oh don't mind me lol, I've been here the whole time. I've been waiting for said threads to show up for each system , in which we see PC footage first and then actual clips showing us a TV screen and a console actually playing the game. Most of the time though, we're shown trailers with tiny words below that state it's running on X system, but the end results is hardly the same all the time, but no one points that out nearly as often enough. 

Actually you dont have to wait LOL, if you a PC gamer,  you know how it would end up (especially games from Ubisuoft  LOL)  but Switch is new and a lot of hype is coming so expect a lot of this theread coming towards Switch. Is not like just only Nintendo has a fair of negative thread :)
