??? Has nothing to do with game's quality. I haven't played Metroid Other M. I can't really judge the game. I was talking about the exclusive deals they get with Nintendo - Metroid Other M and Hyrule Warriors were successful for them. To be fair that's kind of a slipper y slope but it's worth mentioning, i'm not saying my arguments are 100% solid, nobodies are.
By the way, I have played almost no Nintendo games. Like literally almost none. Metroid Prime is my favorite game though, only metroid game i've played though.

Hoping Metroid Prime 4 comes to the Switch though lord have mercy. But Retro should release their new ip first i think.

This is off topic, but I have this tiny and unrealistic dream that From Software is actually working on a Metroid game for the Switch. That would be awesome, and this is someone who doesn't think the Souls games are Metroidvania. They would do Metroid such justice.

and how exactly can you possibly know what I was expecting? I just expected it to be closer to Xbox1 in power (good enough to get acceptable ports), therefore more expensive obviously
my problem is that Nintendo gamers are forced to buy two consoles, once more
of course some important things are still to be seen, like if it's a 3DS replacement or not, still, knowing Nintendo good enough we are 90% sure that we know the direction the NS is heading

I think Dark Souls 1 is very metroidvania but the other ones hell no.
