Yes, "supposed" as in not relevant. I had more trouble with Steam in the last two days then with PSN the entire year. So stick your lol where the sun doesn't shine.

When XBL goes down, it's usually not the entire infrastructure or all services, and is back up rather quickly. When PSN goes down, it can go down for a day or three. Those are just the facts and arguing that is just fanboy fodder.

I actually agree here. Im part of all three online gaming infrastructures, and Microsofts is DEFINITELY the most robust of the three. Sony's tends to have maintenance, or it's just down a lot especially during the PS3 era. I think PSN could be a lot better, but that scheduled maintenance crap and being down more than a few times a year is unacceptable imo. Xbox LIve is THE best on console, and that is fact. Microsoft didnt lie.  I wont get into Nintendos since theres is free.

This is a little offtopic but I was wondering if Sony closed free PS3 servers down? My friend isn't able to log online with his PS3 anymore and not seeing any articles about it.

Yep, I think one of peoples biggest problems with PSN's issues is that they are planned downtimes for maintenance. Why does it need so many? XBL doesn't. Just one of the things that makes Live superior.
