What leads you to believe that this has anything to do with Switch?

Sorry to take so long with this link. This is the site that mentions advanced force feedback.

Never said it wouldn't, but "advanced force feedback" can mean a lot of things.

Also there is this new Nintendo patent that talks about haptic feedback. http://nintendoeverything.com/nintendo-files-patent-relating-to-haptic-feedback-vibration-system/

Hey! They got SONY on my amiibo! Wait a minute. Two great gaming tastes that game great together!

That patent sounds nothing like the OP outside of what it shares with all haptic feedback.

You may be right. Just a few more days and all will be clear. Are you prepared for the end of the Switch rumor apocalypse?

I doubt this will be the end lol.

You are probably right. The meat of the system rumours will be over with but Nintendo historically does not talk about hardware specs, so that debate will rage on for years. Also there will be rumours about new games, new accessories and the like but we get those all the time anyways.

OP, you're a genius!

Thanks. This is going to be such a game changer. Being able to actually feel the game being played will open up new and unseen possibilities. HD Rumble was the best part of the presentation besides the Xenoblade 2 announcement.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the "hidden feature" wasn't that "HD rumble". Why would it? In 2017, a rumble feature seems hardly noteworthy, even if some aspect might make it a little more advanced than the usual rumble.

As I get it from the reports I've read about the switch reveal, the actual "hidden feature" is some builtin, small resolution infrared camera?

Indeed!

Im very curious on how this feature is integrated into the respective games. But I can see this being huge!
