Plus the fact that he works closesly with Guan Yu is awesome, since Guan Yu is the best! Really hoping they add some new `other` officers though. Ma Teng and Gongsun Zan would be pretty cool additions...

Cheng Pu is all I need to be aboard. I hope this experiment of theirs works much better then Dynasty Warriors 6.

Wu has my 3 favorite characters Gan Ning, Sun Quan, and Cheng Pu. Play them every game that I can. Unfortunately Koei annoyed me by adding Han Dang without Cheng Pu, and Wei has more officers then Wu even without Jin. Even though in the past Wu had the most characters, so its been pretty dry for Wu and Others.

Finally the engine building and such is done, and I honestly don't care if they reuse old costumes to make development faster. So DW10 should be much faster then DW9. (3+ years wth)

Uh, open world for Dynasty Warriors? Seriously? I just can't see how that could work, because the focus of the series is on huge battles, not individual adventures in ancient China. Open world doesn't offer much benefit to battles, and I'd probably rather not get too much into doing random stuff there. KOEI sucks at telling stories and mostly everything, they just got lucky twice: they picked Three Kingdoms, and they came up with a pretty good genre. Lately they've been ditching the good storyline in favor of their own, and gameplay has been mostly deteriorating (fighting mechanics are still largely the same as they were in the second game, and the tactical part is almost nonexistent these days). I'm really disappointed at how KOEI is handling the series, because there's just so much potential there.

Excellent. I expect it to at least be on ps4 and I expect that version to sell well across Asia.

Apparently it was.  And this one is open world and features the whole of China. Localisation will happen and ps4 install base will be significantly bigger in China and the rest of Asia by the time it launches.  I'm really looking forward to its sales. 

Im excited and confused, last time they messed with dynasty warriors formula it failed. I just hope we don't have another dynasty warriors 6 on our hands. New characters are always nice

yes! I can't wait for Hyrule Warriors 2 to come out! 

I can't believe that till this day so many people don't know why we are one number ahead.

Anyways... finally! It was a long wait but i'm looking forward to playing it.
