I'm not defending the BS foreign policies enacted by the US government specifically in the middle east. I would even go further in that regard, having the US prop up that cancer called saudi arabia and having used jihadism during the Cold War in order to proxy fight the "godless" USSR.

In any case my point still stands, I don't see why you felt the need to bring people's supposed racist views on (insert random ethnicity) when there's a discussion about random terrorist attacks on civilians in countries that have fuck all to do with the US foreign policies. Unless you prove me wrong, none of those groups you mentioned before is going around planting bombs with the specific purpose of killing civilians in different countries than their own.

Most political terrorism is done against military/political targets in order to achieve a specific goal of the organization. That is why groups like the IRA, ETA, etc can at least be dealt with in a rational way. There's no amount of rationality to reach people who believe mythology and that their goal in this life is to spread said mythology by violent means across the world.

The reason why is because nowadays many people treat Muslims as af they were an ethnicity.

well, it would be one hell of an ethnicity when you have over a billion people who consider themselves muslim across the entire world.

it's simply an ideology that does not mix very well with western contemporary values, thus why all this tension exists

You are an atheist right i've never talked or met an atheist.

Can i ask you if you are an atheist what made you become an atheist (if this is the right way to ask)

oh and why don't you believe in god or i don't know something else i've always wondered that.

yes I am, and I'm sure you've met plenty of atheists, you just might be living in the sort of place where someone being open about being an atheist could bring some terrible consequences, so they wouldn't be open to discuss it with you or anyone around.

what made me become an atheist? the lack of evidence for any sort of gods or supernatural existence. I would say it's the default position. everyone is born an atheist until they are talked into believing in something they have never seen.

why don't i believe in god? same answer, lack of evidence for any sort of gods existence.

hope it helped

Oh no it's not trouble with them coming out I live In a City they call Jerusalem of Europe so i know people of all Religions and trust me i litterally know everyone Even Budhist yes we have them too so it's not that hard to find Atheists.

I never met a true atheist i see a lot of Atheists say no Evidence of god and ok that is your thing but where is the evidence of big bang i think they call it.

And isn't atheism religion of some sorts too.

Religion of peace...

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

big bang? the best visual evidence for the big bang was provided by the cosmic microwave background radiation and it's red shift, meaning that not only the universe is still expanding, but actually keeps expanding at an increased rate instead of slowing down like some older physics models proposed.

if you are genuinely curious about astronomy you have literally an entire universe to discover. even a mild usage of wikipedia should cover some of the basics without you needing a degree in physics. although this has still nothing to do with the lack of evidence for any sort of god.

i find funny the idea regarding the god of the gaps in which humans tend to insert god into anything that is currently unknown. that's why Zeus used to be the god responsible for lightning. when earthquakes happened it would mean the gods would be angry, so let's sacrifice some virgins. when people would get sick, it must have been spirits or demons entering their body, miracles would happen all the time before cameras and video was invented... nowadays when we have an explanation for pretty much everything that used to me attributed to gods, the current gods are limited to hiding away in some alternate reality or beyond this universe.

so actually if you think about it, the position that until any of those gods are proven true you should simply be skeptic and thus an atheist, is the default one.

i'm guessing you're an atheist regarding most of the gods that people thought existed with the exception of the specific one you believe right now. i'm just going 1 god further than you :)

I'm an atheist, and I became an atheist when I found out that atheism existed (previously I just assumed that God was a fact as that's how everyone referred to it). I realized that God wasn't proven to exist, and so I don't believe in any God, and will not until there is undeniable evidence that a God does exist.

Yeah, this is one thing I can agree with you on. The Quran is so filled with violence that it's impossible to call it peaceful.

the lack of religion is not a religion

So there is a god if big bang happened something must have "will it to happen"since you can't say from nothing came everything that doesn't make sence.

But you believe god doesn't exist so you believe in something doesn't that contradict Athiesm belief in nothing.

And you say Atheism is lack of believe ok ,you are a gamer i don't know which platform you prefer but let's say you prefer PS4 you chose that console because you believe that console gives you the best experience out of other so that still is some sort of belief

And Trying to disprove God with our narrow knowledge of physics is like being given only a hammer to build a house. Every problem looks like a nail.

But if they exist in like you say other reality so that means that they still exist and you must take into account infinite parallel universes exists so in many of those universes could exist a god (or many gods) and even an afterlife. And who knows? Maybe our universe is one of those and or all of our universes could have been created by Omnipotent god.

It's not up to us to disprove God. We are not the ones who came up with the original claim that God doesn't exist because there obviously must have been someone beforehand that said that God does exist. Also, we don't claim to know how everything came into being, instead we believe that it's better to admit that we don't know instead of trying trying to come up with something that hasn't been proven.

I used to blame the Islamic religion for this but now I believe a lot of terrorist activity ultimately comes from the money of rich white American (and middle-eastern) elites who want to advance their own global interests and there's nothing that builds their fortunes like the dividing and killing of innocent people. Average people, on their own, typically don't conceive going out and doing heinous stuff like this and it doesn't matter whether they are Christian or Muslim. What happens is that people get brainwashed by the elites of their own society who, in the Islamic countries probably mix religion into it because it's the culture, and these elites want to spread terrorism because they know that they can advance their personal fortunes if they can weaken a nation's sense of national identity.

For example, how many westerners are buying into the crap that's coming out of CNN right now telling everyone that Russia somehow stole a bunch of elections with absolutely zero proof? How about the westerner's who believed the lie that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? These are lies that are spread by evil people who control the media, corporations and the government and who profit from war and human misery. I do not think that we should buy into the lie that the Muslim faith is intrinsically evil, rather we should expose and bring to justice the rotting scum that currently exists at the tops of our own societies and who have been repeatedly shown to have funded terrorist operations like this to overturn governments and start wars for their own self-interests.
