@linkz Counterclaiming in what way? His role seems to have far more to it than mine. I don't doubt the intentions of the host to include roles with similar actions based on themes. I'm not saying Stefl is innocent, but it is still in the realm of possibility.

The idea that Noctis is a miller is a more plausible possibility. A role that is a burden to town. That checks with every one of the miller's descriptions on epicmafia. I'm very weary of lynching Noctis at this point. My information is all we have, however.

At this point I'm more comfortable lynching Trucks due to yesterDay's actions -- successfully diverted attention away from himself and removed every lynch vote -- successfully got a town member lynched and another killed. If I were to vote, that's who I'd vote for.

The problem I have with Noctis' "my role is a burden to the town" statement is that it came after he knew you had a guilty read on him so it could easily all be an act knowing you'd guess he was hinting at a miller. There's not much scum can do about a guilty scan, claiming Miller is one of the few options that can work without having to call the cop a liar.

I'm still have page 22 and 23 to read so I'm guessing around 65 posts.

I haven't quite got to [Novtis and Blade's] claims yet but I promise to give my thoughts when I get to it which will probably be tonight.

Blade hasn't formally claimed yet, and I don't think Noctis has expliticly said his role either, but both of them have removed all doubt that they are presenting themselves as cop and miller.  And this happened long before page 22@50.  How did you miss it?

P.S.  Blade refers to this state as a softclaim, but I don't think it really counts as such.

With the way zero phrased his question, it lead me to believe they had officially claimed within the posts I hadn't read yet but since I'm caught up now, here's my thoughts:

Of Noctis and Blade, the one I'm more inclined to believe is Blade. He started the Day with his accusations of Noctis, wasn't afraid to heavily hint at a cop role even with a claimed Psychic, I can't realistically see scum attempting that. Noctis on the other hand, like I said to Blade in the previous post, went with the Miller defense after he was called out which if he's scum is one of his only options so while I'm not ready to vote just now he's definitely on the top of my list.

Other thoughts:

axumblade has kind of been flying under the radar for the whole game. He's given me the benefit of the doubt because of the holidays, so I'll return the favor but I'll be watchful of his activity in the coming days.

For the situation between baalz and zero, I saw myself siding with baalz about zero taking some of his posts out of context but I also believe he overreacted about some aspects (like the quote tree trimming part). All in all, the whole exchange didn't change my perception of both players who I both have town reads on.

Finally, I'll say that both Stefl and Mr. P are firmly in the town category for me. I don't believe their interactions toDay could have been faked (with Mr. P initially thinking he had the double vote and then realizing it was actually the messages Stefl received).

I Post-read noctis, blade, and platina.
Noctis seems like town to me. His vote near the end of the day was full of gusto. There is one thing niggling at the back of my mind though that epicmafia miller doesn't know he's a miller. Other than that, blade didn't seem to suspect him all that much, so I doubt there are any shenanigans on noctis' part.

Blade played the way I would expect, and was really out to get noctis on day 2 opening. He filled a lot of the meta that would make sense to me, though I really don't understand why he would go after noc. It seems really random, and I can't figure out the inspiration for it.

Platina. I'm 99% sure is scum. I remember on day 1 I was suspicious of platina downplaying his own ability. He started the day basically claiming that he was going to be more quiet because he made mistakes. He then starts talking about role-meta and how many mafia there are. He gives his reason for voting stefl that is because stefl is probably third party, so is ok either way. He makes several posts about third parties to justify said vote again. On day 2 he starts talking about a serial killer, and makes a post theorizing about the existence of an actual cop pre-blade softclaim.
For me today it's between trucks and platina.

PS: Stefl, who did you target?

You keep saying I'm in your top suspects, yet I haven't seen any reasoning for it, care to share your concerns?

I think flavor hunting does have some value too but you can't put all your faith in just that.

About prof, what you're saying is that his claimed arcana and character don't match?

Yes, prof just said he read the wrong thing on the wiki, but idk. I guess its possible if he didnt know what he was looking for.

Ive read/skimmed everything up to this point, but I would appreciate post links if someone has a specific quesion about something.

I feel like my death is coming soon, so I've decided im going to just say what I know before I am hit or lynched.

I was the one who enabled the doublevote on Stefl. I wanted to use my ability on him just to see what he would say on being roleblocked (without ruining him if he was town), and since he is under heavy scrutiny, I knew he wouldnt be able to vote liberally. As of right now, I think Stefl is very likely to be town, and since he could confirm the flowers sent to him, I believe Mr. P is likely as well to be town.

Since I outed my role power anyway, i will tell you as well that my character name is Rise Kujikawa.

i thought mrp was the one who sent flowers...?

He said, "my ability is something like an interceptor, (sending flowers in this case)"

"Technically my power is to send a sort of interceptor ( Flowers in this case) which then send me the messages which the person who I sent the flower to received/sends during the night.

The message I received from said flowers, was that I didn't manage to obtain any info."

No im saying "He was. What do you mean?"

Im asking what are you trying to say. Because Stefl confirming getting the flowers, I am inclined to believe that Mr. P is town, because I think Stefl is all but confirmed.

The vgc must be trying to eliminate super long quotes with the 2 quote thing...lame.

Yes that was the idea. I'm the one who implemented it, it's been like this for a long while now.

I'm fine with it doing that by default, but I'm actually kind of upset that there's no way to "opt in" to the full quote tree.  You can do it manually, but that's really annoying.  Would it have been very hard to give that option instead of having just one way it could work?
