Let me try again, more explicitly.  I asked the question you see above because I think it's incredibly unlikely that the role that Mr.P claimed is a mafia role.  If he's not lying about his role, I believe he's town, and I figure Linkz does too.  So if Mr.P is lying about his role he and Stefl would both have to be in on the lie, and both on the same team.  (It's technically imaginable that Stefl would lie despite being unaffiliated but beyond unlikely, not to mention the difficulty of collusion without the ability to communicate outside of this thread.) 

So why do you think that the role makes sense for mafia to have, if you do indeed think so? 

(I think it's a town role because of the way it can act as a backup recorder to investigative abilities, so that the info can go to more than one of the town.  And for example if a cop investigates someone, that info can still get to town even if he dies that night if the journalist was there.  For mafia, it would still be somewhat powerful, since it would be a limited kind of role-cop ability (working only on abilities that get feedback from the moderator), and would tell them who is being investigated by the townie in question for investigative roles.  But it wouldn't be as ... interesting of a power for mafia to have, or that is how it seems to me.  I just don't see a mod putting together a game and saying "this really makes sense as a power to give to mafia".) 

P.S.  In a game with a journalist, don't expect a deputy.

It's not that your claims about the alignments of Persona characters are wrong, it's that those arguments have no known bearing on this game, except as a loose tie to the style of powers a player might have, if they have powers.  Even then, it's just a guessing game IMO as to what aspects of the character Clyde chose to intrepret into a mafia role, and how.  A guessing game that distracts and detracts from other discussion. 

its a word i just assumed was an actual word, and upon googling is not (lol). I meant to say along the lines of it made me seem like I was wasting my time. I know they have no known bearing, and with the Spurge flip I realize how wrong I initially was. But I dont think my Day 1 actions were any less a waste of time than suspecting others for "playing different".

In Day 2, I feel people can act on things that are actually happening in this game, rather than prior games.

I also hate that im being suspected just because I dont play like someone who knows this game. I can't hardly defend myself, even though I clearly posted my intentions, multiple times, to multiple people yesterday about why I was so willing to lynch with the majority.

But I dont get why my 2 votes for miz is seen as such a negative? I even waited the second time to let people talk rather than just lynch him.

I feel like people havent given me a fair thought if they vote me so quickly, at least question me about what you find suspicious? Like, seriously, what do you want from me?

You may have been thinking of the word "invalidate", but I don't see saying you are relentless about something invalidates it.  It's a good thing if what you're doing is good, and bad if it's bad. 

You have definitely been flavor hunting on Day 2, even if you had stopped before my accusation.  Did you intend to sound like you were claiming you hadn't? 

I'm not going after you for your Day 1 vote. 

As for what I want, what do you think of zero's recent posts?  He's certainly said a lot of words, but has he said anything convincing to you?  Do you think Baalz is completely right?  Are they both wrong? 

And what do you think of the Mr.P/Stefl situation?

What I am truely wondering about is weather or nto a scum also targeted me with something to make sure I got blocked.

If this game actually had a watcher this is such a gold mine.

@Linkz, I think I have always been way better scum than town though.
@Platina, I kinda remembered always voting for spurge back in the day, that is why I did it that game

Yet, you are managing to go through and intentionally (yes, at this point it absolutely must be intentional) making it sound bad. And quite frankly, for anybody who only reads your quotes and doesn't go back and actually read the whole context, it will sound hella scummy.

 

You've shown you are capable of including multiple quotes in your posts easily enough, so why do you continue excluding all relevant posts when you quote me? As indicated before, until you can give me a valid reason, the vote remains.

I have clearly read the thread and im not mis quoting anything. I am not cutting out parts of your post. Yes i bolded the parts i thought where important and the parts i wanted to question you on, but your full post is still in the quotes for anyone to see and read. If you yourself are seeing your posts as scummy then why shouldnt i?.

I also dont need to make a quote tree when im quoting someone. Please do go back over the posts and show me the parts you feel like i left out.

Lol, I'm not seeing my posts as scummy, nor did I say that. I'm seeing that specific portions of my posts (and everybodys posts) can be manipulated into appearing scummy. Big difference.

I never voted Clyde? My first vote yesterday was on Spurge. The Spurge vote was due to him giving me a town vibe (which is the exact opposite I normally get from him when he is town, so I actually felt like that made him more scummy to me). The Miz vote was because he came off as incredibly scummy. He was flip flopping votes all day yesterday and he claimed bomb (which no town should ever claim). So after that claim, I see him as either a mafia (decently likely) or a worthless bomb because he roleclaimed, so there is very very little risk to lynching him. As soon as he switched to Watcher, I made a quick post how this was on him...the reasoning is, by the time you have already made yourself appear scummy, the last thing I want to see is somebody flip flopping on their roleclaim. Why the hell should I believe anything he says if he is going to just keep coming up with new roles that suit his needs.
