I don't see how I can't see the big picture.

Throw everything else that has happened this game away, and put yourself in a scenario where you have a confirmed cop scan of innocent on suspect A, and an unconfirmed role cop scan of Godfather on suspect A. Suspect A proceeds to claim Doctor, and suspect B also claims doctor.

In exactly what world do you not vote for suspect B? Most of the events that have been claimed fit pretty well into this scenario, but there are always going to be a few things off because we obviously have a few mafia lying through their teeth.

I know I definitely mixed things up with my poems (and not necessarily for the better due to my misunderstanding of several of them), but I just can't see myself straying away from the vote with the best odds.

According to everyones claims, we have 6 characters who appeared in either of the Persona 2 duology, 4 from one of the Persona 3 games, and 5 from Persona 4. Mr. Ps claim was unexpected, as I thought he would claim a character from Persona 3.

Each persons character has something in their story that matches up with their power. (mostly) So I think we are looking at either 1)everyone has just 1 role name that doesnt dictate alignment, or (2)safe names. Im sure all of you already thought that, though.

Here is a list of roles and their connections:

theprof00 Tatsuya Suou - Amnesiac Sibling (P2-1) Has his memories taken in the events of Eternal Punishment.
axumblade Yukiko Amagi - Doctor (P4-1) Is one of the healing members in the P4 party.
zero129 Maya Amano - Jack of all trades (P2-2) Becomes the protaganist in P2:ED, when just a character in P2:IS supporting the idea of jackofalltrades. She is also a reporter, able investigate her opponents in battle, and that of JOKER in the main story. Lending credence to having multiple investigative powers. An important life event involving moving away (commuter) is a major part of her character.
arminillo* Rise Kujikawa - Doublevote Motivator (P4-2) Is an idol, and the support of the main party of P4. Sometimes, she can help her friends attack in battle, called an 'All Out Attack!'.
BladeSymphony* Katsuya Suou - Cop (P2-3) Is a cop. Pretty much all you need right there.
Linkzmax Chie Satonaka - Roleblocker (P4-3) This one, I have nothing. I have no idea why she would be townroleblocker other than Clyde just wanted it to be a role.
platina* Aigis - Watcher (P3-1) She states her lifes duty is to be with (watch) the Protagonist of Persona 3.
miz1q2w3e* Metis - Tracker (P3-2) Eh, she follows her "sister" Aigis around in P3FES. Not much direct correlation but its there.
TruckOSaurus Maki Sonomura - Doctor (P2-4) Is a Therapist during the events of  Persona 2.
FinalFan Baofu - Vigilante (P2-5) Ahh Baofu. This role fits him very well, as he was assumed dead and then took on a false identity to avenge the death of Miki.
Noctis_NoX* Shinjiro Aragaki - Miller (P3-3) Shinjiro was pretty rough and gave the impression of being a bad guy, accidentally killed another characters mother, and took power suppresent pills from the antagonists. Makes sense he would be in a role that showed up guilty.
Baalzamon Marie - Dreamer (P4-4) Marie is very annoying and likes to write poems. She also likes to just happen to leave them where the protagonist can find them. Ugh. Ties to the true final boss of Persona 4.
spurgeonryan* Tohru Adachi - Mailman (P4-5) Antagonist of Persona 4. Writes anonymous letters threatening the main party. Not the true boss.
Mr.Playstation Jun Kurosu - Journalist (P2-6) Flowers are his weapons. Turns out to be Joker, the antagonist of Persona 2 (JOKER is a different person in Eternal Punishment however).
Stefl1504* Fuuka Yamagishi - Psychic (P3-4) Is the support unit of P3. Uses her power to locate friends and even enemies far away.

 

I believe that there are only 3 mafia. I earlier surmised Baofu could be a third party based on the flavor on rumors on the second day start. However, Finalfan claims town Vigilante so I guess Ill leave it at that, maybe four mafia is possible.

Given the flavor text given in each of the days. I think its possible that the three mafia are each one villan from each game. So maybe Joker, Ameno Sagiri, and Nyx.

Since no mafia is dead I cant confirm what im about to say, but I think 1 character from each game claimed, is actually one of these villans. Since there are six Persona 2 claims, I would lean towards lynching Trucks, between the two doctors. (assuming it is supposed to be five each).

But I also would like to say that I believe Zero based on what I know about Persona, which, I might add are always about investigation. (there are alot of investiagative roles here in this Mafia game).

 

I think the smart thing to do, is to lynch Trucks. I think we have in actuality 5 characters from Personas 2, 3, and 4. And in each of them, 1 actual mafia.

And if Blade turns out to be an insane cop or any other flavor? Don't you have a point about someone who thinks they are helping town but are not?

Blade got the correct result from Noctis (Guilty for a miller). He can't be insane cop or naive or paranoid (because of my innocent scan), the only possible variation would be Random Cop but that's a terrible role.

Blade received a proper scan on the miller (guilty). This rules out insane cop (results always opposite) and naive cop (results always innocent).

Blade received an innocent scan on Trucks. This rules out paranoid cop as results are always guilty.

I am extremely doubtful we have a random cop (note there is a 25% chance with a random cop that he would get both scans right, which he did, unless Trucks is neither town or Godfather).

Since no mafia is dead I cant confirm what im about to say, but I think 1 character from each game claimed, is actually one of these villans. Since there are six Persona 2 claims, I would lean towards lynching Trucks, between the two doctors. (assuming it is supposed to be five each).

But I also would like to say that I believe Zero based on what I know about Persona, which, I might add are always about investigation. (there are alot of investiagative roles here in this Mafia game).

 

I think the smart thing to do, is to lynch Trucks. I think we have in actuality 5 characters from Personas 2, 3, and 4. And in each of them, 1 actual mafia.

If you're gonna vote for me please do it for an actual reason based on the facts you have from claimed and confirmed roles. Not because you think there's one bad guy per Persona game, a theory that has absolutely nothing to support it.

Be honest guys, the only reason people wont vote trucks is because Zero claimed jackofall trades. Do you guys think he would be as stupid as to make such a ridiculous claim if lying? Or do you think Clyde gave him THAT as a safeclaim? Even if we lynched Trucks and he WAS doctor, couldnt vigilante just shoot Zero at night?

There is absolutely no good reason to not lynch Trucks.

Nothing to support but human nature. I think if Clyde took the time to pick characters from each game that interestingly mesh with Mafia roles, he would also want to have a variety of villains. I also think he wouldve leaned towards the order of equally dividing the characters. Its just something people do innately, organize things.

One good reason could be that we have an innocent scan on him.
