Forums - Sony - Why do we still not have EA Access on PS4?

Wait you want it?

And if sony does this whats to stop activision, capcom, square, Ubisoft...basically everyone from doing it? Then no publisher promotes stuff like that any more for free because they have to cater to their subscribers. Imagine having to pay $30/yr to all you favorite publishers and still have to pay $60/yr for your PlayStation service.

No thank you.

I'm not sure how EA access existing has negatively affected anything... in any way.

If you don't like it then you don't subscribe, the same if other publishers started running the same service. It doesn't affect their current business model, you can still buy their games.

But personally I don't give a damn about EA Access.

I never wanted EA Access until I got a free month with the purchase of my Battlefield Xbox One S. Now, I can't how anyone could possibly say anything bad about it. If there's one single EA game that has your attention, go ahead and subscribe.

Why it's not on PS4? Blast Processing.

Early on EA Access was underwhelming, but for someone just getting an X1 I would highly suggest it. The library it offers is insane for the price and its games people would get excited about if they were on PS+ and GwG.

People who mock EA Access now are just siding with Sony even if its anti consumer.

people on playstation want it? That's news to me

EA titles are among the most popular on PS4.

EA Access is doing well on X1, you don't think demand exist on PS4?

I don't know why the PS4 doesn't have EA access.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

ea access is more value then psplus if you don't want to play multiplayer, because obviously that needs plus anyway, but ea access on my pc is great, lots of games you can play, stuff being added, discounts and early access.

Really a nice feature, when I get scorpio I will get ea access on that instead of my pc, for the extra games that are not on pc (x360 and NHL and stuff) unless they also come to pc.

Anyway, I hope sony allows it, they are deciding people don't want it, but people do use it on pc and xbox, so why shouldn't the option be available is beyond me.

EA were all buddy buddy with MS leading into this gen and for most of last gen fucking over Sony by doing deals with Ms time and time again.

Now that ps is thr dominant king and they don't need a service like this I'd say Sony are teaching them a lesson. I can guarantee you if Activision had their own equivalent this gen it would be on ps4.

I think you will find companies aren't that petty, and the ones that are, are just screwing over their fanbase by giving them less options.

Omg I'm dying, lol at these comments.

I can't wait until it's on PS and see the reactions.

"Good job Sony for waiting until it's worth it for the consumers" I bet will be one frequently used. Even though it's has been more than value for money for a while now.

Thanks Microsoft for allowing me to chose if I want it or not. #goodguyMS.

Oh trust me gaming companies can be very petty.  EA regularly screwed over their massive Playstation fanbase by doing deals with MS.  and when ps4 went onto dominate those deals screwed themselves.  Karma.
