That makes no sense whatsoever.  W10 is a PC OS and XB1 is a console.  That's apples and oranges.  The fact is Microsoft clearly isn't interested in our little list-wars and are doing business in a way that they feel is most effective for them by putting their games on two DIFFERENT platforms while Sony is continuing to ride their hot hand in the console world only.

There's no such thing as a MS exclusive anymore though is there? I thought all MS XB1 games are now shared across WindowsXBLive or whatever it is.

I'm not saying include Steam games, just the MS games exclusive to their (digital) platform.

It kinda feels like this thread is slowly morphing from a "good job Sony exclusives!" thread to "M$ has no exclusives!" thread.

That is their decision though and not something that we should be modifying definitions for in order for them to be comparable in a list.  That's like saying that we have to include Honda lawnmowers when we discuss average vehicle horsepower because Honda chose to diversify a bit.

No, there aren't any Xbox exclusives anymore. There are still console exclusives for that platform.

PC and Xbox One are complete different platforms. When you buy Gears of War 4 on PC you aren't buying it on a Xbox One.

However, if you're buying The Last Guardian on PS4 Pro, you're still buying it on a PS4.

It's a platform exclusive not a console exclusive, no different than sharing an account across iOS devices. I hate MS as much as the next guy but it's a cheap way to exclude all of MS' first party output in petty listwars.

If you still have to buy 2 copies then I take back what I said. If it's a shared account then I don't.

But it isn't a platform exclusive.  It is a game available on two (PC and Console) separate platforms.  That MS holds rights over both doesn't make it the same platform.

Also, I don't hate MS.  I have an XB1 and I enjoy it.  I have a PC and I enjoy it.  I have a Playstation 4 and I enjoy it.  Doesn't change the fact that, objectively speaking, there is no longer going to be an Xbox exclusive game put out by Microsoft - and here is the critical part - by no one's choice but their own.  They, MS, are electing to expand their games into multiple platforms.  Hell, I wish Sony would do the same.  However, the idea of it denegrating their ability to create what amounts to a dick-measuring list is an asinine reason to try to hyphenate or append anything to give them a list too.

That's only if you buy the XBO version, you get the PC version free. However if you buy only the PC version, you don't get the XBO version.
