Forums - Sony - PS3 Poll: Dual Shock 3 V's Six-axis controller.

I hate the sixaxis.........it always feels like I'm going to break it with my hands. It's too light (and I also hate the triggers). If DS3 feels like DS2, I'd pick that in a heartbeat.

Remember, the 360 imitated the playstation 2 controller triggers placement with a slight difference. Also, how can anyone say the 360 is better for shooter games. The DS3 sixaxis controller is just fine. The 360 controller does feel more comfortable, though. Inclusively, the DS3 sixaxis controller is a little heavier than the regular sixaxis controller cause i've had mine over a month now. Motion sensor function is an added plus. I give the edge to the DS3,cause it has more functionality. Both controllers(DS3 and 360) are still good and way better than a mouse and keyboard(way to complicated and difficult to use,not enough button usage).--WRONG POST,sorry.

DS3, it just feels better.

no plans of buying a DS3 unless one of my controllers die. So SIXAXIS for me

I just wish there was a way to turn off the controller without using the screen (like the Wii). I sometimes forget to turn the PS3 off before the TV, and since it's a projection set it can take a while to start back up (not to mention it's not good for the bulb to turn it off and on again right away). It could at least turn itself off after not being moved for an hour.

I kind of like the fact that the sixaxis is really light myself but I haven't tried the dual-shock 3 yet.

Zero plans on picking up a 3rd controller just for rumble. I actually kind of like the lighter weight of the sixaxis. I did like the DS2 and would probably prefer it, but the difference is not worth the extra cash.

hold the 'ps' button for around 10 seconds. it should turn off after that.

I imported one of the white dual shock 3's.

I guess for me it's alright, but not a big deal. I don't really care about the rumble...I think it can actually be distracting from the story in certain games.

As far as quality, it feels much more sturdy and has some weight to it...but I don't know if that's good or not. The lighter it is, the longer you can play without your wrist or hands getting tired. The sixaxis felt cheap, but it wasn't. I've owned 3 sixaxis since US launch and have never had one break.
