Talking about Konami's stupidity and the unjustness of Silent Hills' cancellation is always timely!

Well, on that I can agree... they are 24/7 morons and the decision was idiotic as well, just found strange for him to say this out of the blue so long after this is a know fact.

Well, he's in Death Stranding since last night, and Kojima talked about Konami again during the Games Awards. If anyone wants to talk about that case again, now is the time.

Sure must suck, perhaps his speech have some relation to the other notice about Kojima being hostage.

Yes, probably. From what little we've heard it sounds like Konami treated Kojima as spitefully as they could. I'm sure del Toro knows a lot more about just how bad it really was.

Well, considering both are in touch it would be quite possible he knows a lot about the ordeal.

I think he may have been more vocal because now that everyone has parted ways and no longer on contracts or what not. He was waiting to say this ever since they canceled the game. Of course I have no proof and just blindly speculating here.

There are speculation and there are very plausible theories, yours falls more on the second. They being under some contract up to know would make sense for the silence so far.

That's a game worth thinking about what will it be about. Do you know what he talked about. But yes, this seems like a valid moment to talk about it.

Why DID Konami cancel it?

Because they got upset with Kojima.

Risk & reward... apparently its easier to design pachinko machine, and less risky and higher rewards.

No disrespect, but who the hell cares what he says, not part of the company. Besides, aren't Konami focusing on mobile now?

You should quote every person in this thread with that response, because no one here is part of Konami.

In fact you should do the same in every thread.

Well, now that Kojima is free and Kojima's rep and PT's hype has never been higher, I'm sure he can get the band together and kickstart "Highlands with no noise".

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I do care, because I wanted so bad that SH game to become a reality. Plus I respect del Toro work more than I will ever respect Konami ever again (Konami was my fave Game company, mostrly because SH and MG; now they let all their followers down because they didnt want to risk their money anymore)
