At this year’s Video Game Awards, Phoenix Labs revealed its new PC-exclusive title, called Dauntless. Dauntless is a co-op action RPG that is inspired by the Dark Souls and Monster Hunter series, and will be free-to-play. 

The game will support up to four players who will be able to craft stronger weapons and travel the world’s floating islands, hunting down giant creatures.

Phoenix Labs has released the first screenshots for Dauntless that can be viewed below, as well as its debut cinematic trailer.

Game has my attention since I like the idea of Monster Hunter style co-op gameplay. The F2P part is a bit iffy, but as long as it's consmetic I don't mind. There are other F2P games out there that have good models.

No one interested?.

Considering that it'll feature crafting elements, i'd say a bit, though it's F2P, and co-op based, so I'm thinking it'll have a more online type focus.

DOA imo

I'm hoping they go the cosmetic route, especially since it's co-op. Making it a F2P with a stupid grind that feels like a chore for a co-op game, will surely kill it. Has to be cosmetics or bust.
