Okay, lets calm down.He is not accusing you of anything.What Ganoncrotch means is that, even if someone is interested to host a show, he/she still needs to know what it is about, even if so slightly, simply because it needs to be in his area of interest or knowledge, because otherwise you would be listing to something you dont like or have no knowledge about.Even on listing for normal jobs, you have a summary or a general description of what you are supposed to do.

Cant you give a general idea of what the host needs to do?For example, the host will be discussing about video games, making argumentations about which games are good or not, or even theorizing about the game.If you need to do this live, or if it is pre-recorded, and so on.This way, you give the general idea of what he is supposed to do, but no specific about how the show works is given.

If you dont give any information, and just says "I need a host, but I wont say anything about what you need to do", it will be very hard for you to find somebody.

If someone is interested to host a show, they should inquire with me, privately. This post is to look for a potential host, not to have people jumping on the boat for the wrong reasons. If you fit, we can go forward, but you have to want to host a talk show before anything else. It has to start out pure.

I did. My host needs to be able to execute a script I write for them. It is on Twitch so everyone that knows what Twitch is knows that the content must be video game related. If I talk about details of the show, I risk it being stolen. Twitch is LIVE STREAM! Again, if you know of Twitch, you would know this already.

I do not need to give more than the basics because I want someone that is pure... not clouded by money motivation... just someone of purity. My last host knew nothing about video games, I do not need a host that knows anything to make this show successful. Just love to work, love your craft, and want to do it. Hit me up. It is that easy. If you want it to be more complicated, ignore me.

I know you have never come up with an original idea in your life... but the point remains, if someone wants to host a talk show, I have a talk show they can host. I do not need excuses why you do not want to host my talk show, I need one person to say they want to host the talk show. Any other details I can work out with them later, but if you think I do not have a talk show or something like that... or if you are thinking you will not like the content before hand, then I know you do not really want to host a talk show. The way the world owrks i different than the way you want it to work, especially with an idea that needs to be protected.

Begging? Show me where i even asked more than once. This is simple, I have an amazing idea and scripts that need a host. When someone says, "are you an actor" they do not say you need to be a certain type of actor because if you are an actor, you should be able to adjust to the role AFTER you know what it is. This is not about begging for someone, I can get someone here that I do not even know. This is an opportunity for someone else, and if nobody wants to take it, that is fine by me. When the show goes off, I will come back and remind everyone in this thread that they did not take me seriously because of arbitrary circumstances.

Then Im afraid you are going to have a hard time finding someone.Its not a matter of having pure intentions or anything.Its a matter of compromising yourself with a complete stranger completely blind.Its like making a promise to someone random and dont even knowing what the promise is about.For all you know, he may ask you to kill somebody.Or do something humiliating.And the oposite is just as true.Its taking an unnecesary risk.

And assuming you are taking this show seriosly and making something that resembles a living out of it, it will require dedication out of the host too.Probably to spend hours each day in dedication to this.And you are expecting someone to come foward(and does the job well, in top of that), with zero promise of anything to gain from it?That is a thing you do with friends, because you are friends, not total strangers.Not wanting to sound mean, but your host quit for a reason, didnt he?

And you got angry by my examples, but they were only that, examples.I know what twitch does, and what it entails with it.But even then, there are a billion kind of shows or content you can do.And no one will apply to something(with serious intent of going through with it) without having the faintest idea of what it isl.Even professional companies makes a kind of listing of what they expect you to do and they give you a basic idea of what you are going to do, even if in the end is not exactly that, to protect the secrecy of their product.

If you keep looking your host like this, and unless you ask your personal friends, you will never find your pure host.Give an idea about what the show entails, even if it is just like what kind of games you are going to talk about, and say other key specific things like if you are going to get money or not out of it.If you dont come clean with people, others wont come clean with you.

As someone who grew up in the acting world of TV and Films,you don't know how it works. Your title literally says "I m Desperate for a Host" that is begging. You also baited Bristow by insulting him which isn't cool.  You have been acting immature in this thread.

I am not going to doubt your story, I am just going to say if you have revolutionary ideas, you do not go to EA Games with the idea because you know they will just steal it faster than you can produce it.
