Forums - Gaming - Nintendo 99$ 3DS will Win Black Friday if Nintendo shipments don´t fail.

Was able to preorder at Walmart 20 mins before it sold out online.

Playing Overwatch till 1am has its benefits it seems. xD

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

XL or standard?

standard.  First time released in NA.  Just was the New 3DS XL up till now.

Almost true, but not quite.  There was the Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer bundle, and later the Super Mario 3D Land bundle that were the standard size and not XL.

also i believe back in February they had the standard size with Pokemon faceplates and Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow pre-installed.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

I wanted the white one, but it was sold out everywhere yesterday, and I'm sure it still is. It is the only deal I'm interested in together with FAST Racing Neo at $7.49, and Pokken for $35.

All I know is Nintendo fucked up with this NES Mini. It's not really gaining traction as a hot Christmas gift because you can't find them anywhere. Good going Nintendo. Utterly predictable too. I'm done with doing things like showing up at stores at 6 AM hoping they get a shipment larger than 6 units or something for anything Nintendo related ever again, I'll maybe pick up a NES mini next year when they're gathering dust on the shelves, but enough is enough with this low shipment nonsense.

I just hope Nintendo doesn't commit the same mistake with the Switch. Because, unlike the NES Mini or amiibos, its future depends on how fast it sells the first year.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

They will, they never learn from past mistakes as history has proven.

Here it is, still in stock: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MFAWPRA/?tag=rs0ab-20

Turns out it was the New 3DS. Those already have bigger screens than the standard 3DS, so that's a great deal.

When I checked Amazon early this morning it was selling for $160+, which is not such a great deal.  Currently it's going for $184+.  However, it seems to be fluctuating in and out of local Targets throughout the day — I picked one up about 8 hours ago, and there was still at least 10 in stock at that time.  Now it's sold out at that location, but it's in stock as some other locations that were previously sold out.  It's probably possible to still get one today if you can react quickly to updates.

A $100 dollar handheld with a HUGE title like pokemon? There is no possible way that is winning.

Oh wait I meant the opposite of that. It is an easily cheap handheld with an insanely popular game that JUST released - of course it will do well.

edit: although looking at Amazon - it looks like it has already sold out. Nintendo products get destroyed in ratings when their items sell out fast. Why do people thinking giving an item one star will teach the scalpers anything?

Apparently Amazon did not want to sell the 99$ 3DS for 99$. I happened to see it up on Amazon and ordered it and later got an email saying that, that price was actually incorrect but that they were still going to honor it unless you ordered more than 1
