You might not realize this yet but all campaigns promise things that ultimately not within control of the candidate. This is compounded by the fact that the President cannot create legislation. This on its own doesn't even account for promises made that the candidate has no intentions of following through on.
just like every other politician on the planet who promises something while running for office and then doesn't get it done. I don't even like Trump, but its silly to jump on the guy THAT quickly. I mean for gods sake Barack Obama didn't get practically anything done he promised. Its a regular thing for these politicans, no reason to pin point the Don only

You don't actually believe that this the reason he's not appointing a special prosecuter to investigate her?

I disagree. Rather than saying, "oh, they all lie, we shouldn't say anything," they should all be called out if they make promises they knew they wouldn't keep.
Obama actually didn't do that badly. 45% kept and 26% with a compromise according to Politifact. Not great but he spent much of it with an opposing Congress. Some were major failures, of course, like his promise to create 1 million new manufacturing jobs. The end result wasn't even close and he should be called out for that. The real key, however, is if a politician works to keep a promise, as opposed to something they just said to get them elected.
Statistics say that most promises are kept in one form or another. Trump, with a Congress that should be on his side, should finish his first term with many of those promises kept or in the works.

Speaking of 'dumb', I had to quote this ironic comment because it gave me a chuckle.
I'm still surprised they were gullible enough to believe he would. Can't wait to see all the stuff he doesn't do like build a wall, ban Muslims etc... not happen too. I'll just laugh at every Trump supporters face. (well the ones who believed his BS that is)
Oh and a fence isn't a wall, FYI.
Once again Trump is the master at baiting his opponents LOL ...
You can really see the cognitive dissonance and the confirmation bias in this thread ...

Stay classy Trump since you'll be providing me laughs with years to come about the dissaffected MSM and the critics who still don't understand ...

I was thinking something along those lines. For example, the wall was one of the reasons he was seen as an "racist white supremacist" but now that he is hearing feedback and showing some flexibility on the matter he is an "flip-flopping liar".

That is honestly hilarious.
He's saying even his own supporters have no clue what's going to happen?

Oh, man, I enjoyed that way too much. Thanks for sharing that.
