Forums - Gaming Discussion - Ps4 Pro beats Nvidia 1070 @ Hitman !?

The PC was running at max settings at 67 FPS WHILE using FRAPS (25% performance loss).

Not entirely true, during actual gameplay the PC version was mainly running in the 40's.

I have to say that on a second closer look, the PC version certainly runs at a higher frame rate than the PRO version mostly though. I just caught a particular place for bad performance on first viewing.

PS4 Pro isn't even on Par with $160 RX 470 haha!

The PS4 Pro is still a good value though. On par with a $600 PC

Lol, the last one just got closed because of the same bullshit opener.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Lmao, my question at this point is why do you people need to try and justify your purchase so hard?

You don't see me or other PC gamers posting threads on how the Ps4 Pro performs like a i3 + 960 in Rise of Tomb Raider yet you m8s try to upsell it with zero research. Rise of Tomb raider is a pretty well optimized game in all platforms and DF said that the devs put more effort into the ps4 pro version than any other dev did.

Sighh oh wellz.

Oh and my thoughts about it is in this thread

Btw, he is using fraps which has been known to have massive performance hits and hasnt been updated in years

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

If you watched your videos then you would realize that not only is your premise false at face value but your comparison doesn't actually make any sense because you are comparing apples to oranges because they're not running at the same settings. If you're going to make these threads then provide some solid evidence (like some graphs? Digital Foundry direct comparison between PS4 Pro and PC?) instead of just posting two YouTube videos. These threads are clickbait level and we will moderate if this continues.

Eh, no. Not even close. Also, as others have pointed out, the PC user is running Fraps, which will put quite a dent into the performance.
