Would be cool to see a anouncement trailer of "shadow hearts 3"

http://gematsu.com/2016/01/shadow-hearts-creator-working-new-video-game

Fallout in only 4 days!

Seems like they're gonna drop some big bombs.

My pipe dream hope is that Armored Core is announced with PSVR support and a trailer is shown.

I have a feeling that it won't happen, since that isn't really a PSX type game...but I can dream!

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Final Fantasy XV - A ten year long journey

Today, Final Fantasy XV released. A game that was first revealed in May 2006, when Square Enix showed it under the name Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Between then and now, the week of the game’s launch, the world has changed in some pretty dramatic ways. To really hammer in just how long we’ve waited for the 15th Final Fantasy and how much can happen in 10 years, follow along for some of the highlights of the past decade.

  • Square Enix have released 45 new Final Fantasy games and phone games
  • Bioware have released Mass Effect 1-3, Star Wars: The Old Republic and Dragon Age 1-3
  • The entire Uncharted franchise has released
  • The entire Assassin’s Creed franchise has released
  • The entire Gears of War franchise has released
  • The entire Souls franchise has released
  • Nintendo has gone from their 6th gen home console (GameCube) to their 9th gen (Switch)
  • THQ have gone bankrupt, been acquired by Nordic Games and revived as THQ Nordic
  • Apple introduced the iPhone, its first smartphone, in 2007
  • TV shows like Breaking Bad and Mad Men have aired their entire runs
  • Streaming TV, movies and music has become the norm
  • Platforms like Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Video have all launched since the game’s reveal
  • US citizens have voted in three separate presidential elections
  • Barack Obama has completed his entire presidency
  • The financial crisis has hit the World
  • Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia have been separated to form three distinct countries
  • South Sudan has been separated from Sudan to form two distinct countries

This is crazy. Square Enix really took their time.

Game is fun though.

Yeah. Cockpit view games in general seem to work really well in VR such as Eve: Valkyrie, Rigs and Driveclub. I think Armored Core, Ace Combat and Gran Turismo would all be awesome in VR as well.

Maybe it'll happen. Back in May, From Software was hiring developers to work on PSVR (link) and they are confirmed to be working on 3 unannounced games including a new Armored Core (details in OP).

They just confirmed a Hideo Kojima and Special Guests Death Stranding panel for Saturday at 1pm http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016/11/28/playstation-experience-2016-the-complete-guide/

They also announced meet & greets and autograph sessions

Saturday
12pm - 12.45pm: Tim Schafer (Double Fine Productions)
1pm - 1.45pm: TBA
2pm - 2.45pm: Hideo Kojima (Kojima Productions)
3pm - 3.45pm: TBA
4pm - 5pm: Yoshinori Ono (Street Fighter V) and Capcom Cup Finalists

Sunday
11am - 11.45am (blog post says PM, typo?): John Gonzalez (Horizon Zero Dawn)
12pm - 12.45pm: TBA
1pm - 1.45pm: Kinda Funny Games
2pm - 2.45pm: Yasuyuki Oda (King of Fighters XIV)

From Software has said that they're working on a new Armored Core, they've also said that they'd like to bring Dark Souls to VR, so maybe we'll start seeing lots of VR from them.

I wonder if 1 of the special guests is Norman Reedus.

Yup, details about Meet and Greet is on page 17 in this thread.

Yup, details about From Software's 3 rumored PS4 games is in OP. Armored Core confirmed to be 1 of the 3 but Miyazaki has confirmed that none of the remaining 2 have anything to do with Demon's Souls, Dark Souls or Bloodborne. He could be trolling us of course.

PS4 exclusive JRPG allegedly being worked on at From Software

According to Verendus, a known Sony insider, the Japanese developer which rose to popularity with the Souls franchise is currently developing a JRPG exclusively for Sony’s console.
”Next FS exclusive for PS4 currently in development is a Sony published first party title, like Bloodborne was, and is a JRPG.” He said as much in an answer about the apparent lack of JRPGs on PlayStation 4.
From Software is confirmed to be working on 3 games including a new Armored Core. In an interview with MCV, Hidetaka Miyazaki told that he is not working on Bloodborne 2 or Dark Souls 4.
