Sony updated the PSX 2016 Complete Guide with some new info.

Experience PlayStation 2016 App

To get the most out of the weekend, download the brand new Experience PlayStation 2016 app, available for free on iOS and Android devices. The app will be made available on Saturday, December 3rd, so don’t be alarmed if you can’t find it yet.

This app is not the same as last year’s — we’ve made some big upgrades and improved the overall UI. Here are some things you’ll be able to do with the app:

  • Plan your weekend with a comprehensive list of activities sorted by date and time.
  • Sync your PSN ID with your badge to unlock exclusive items at PlayStation Store by completing objectives throughout the weekend.
  • Track which exhibitors you’ve visited — and which you have yet to experience — by checking in with your RFID-enabled badge.

If you haven’t done so yet, be sure to sync your PSN ID with your badge by adding it to your registration at http://playstation.com/experience-tickets.

PlayStation Showcase

PlayStation Showcase kicks off the show on Saturday, December 3rd, starting at 10:00am Pacific Time, and will feature announcements and a sneak peek at the future of PlayStation. The Showcase will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis, so pick up your badges on Friday and get in line early on Saturday if you want the best shot at sitting in.

live.playstation.com

Can’t make it to Anaheim? Then we hope you can watch the show live at live.playstation.com. By logging in at live.playstation.com with your PSN ID, you can unlock bonus content by watching PlayStation Showcase, the PlayStation Experience panel lineup, and PlayStation LiveCast game demos.

You can also stream PlayStation Experience video programming through Facebook Live VideoTwitch, and YouTube.

Collectible Cards

A few weeks ago we announced that collectible cards are coming back. For those unfamiliar, we have 37 unique cards scattered throughout the show for you to discover. Work together, divide and conquer, and you could have a complete set in your possession by the time Monday rolls around.

PlayStation Gear Store

The team has put together a slew of goods that any PlayStation fan would be proud to own. From clothing and collectables to accessories, the PlayStation Gear Store lineup is more stacked than ever. Last year, many items sold out quickly — don’t wait until the last day to get your favorite gear! And be sure to bring a Visa or Mastercard; we won’t be taking cash.

And with that, you should have everything you need to have the best PlayStation Experience possible. Don’t forget to check back to PlayStation.Blog for updates throughout the weekend. We can’t wait to celebrate everything PlayStation with you in just a few days — see you in Anaheim!

Thanks.

I'll get the app.

I think this PSX may be the best yet. And that´s not to throw shade at past PSXs that I thought were pretty good.
Every event that has Yakuza is good in my book. Unfortunately I don´t think we will get anything more Yakuza related before Zero launches.

Either way there should be Wipeout, TLoU2, Crash gameplay, Kojima, MVC4, Ace Combat gameplay and new Horizon trailer. Pretty good.

The only thing I think many will complain that won´t be there is Spider-Man. That and GoW I think will skip as those games shouldn´t even come out in 2017.

Hopefully we get more NNK2.

Speculation:
PS1 on PS4 might be announced. Back in May Sony filed a trademark for G-Police, a PS1/PC/PS3 game https://euipo.europa.eu/eSearch/#details/trademarks/015448715
And just today they trademarked another PS1 game, Lifeforce Tenka https://euipo.europa.eu/eSearch/#details/trademarks/016110538
Also, back in 2014 Eurogamer already reported that PS1 and PS2 support was coming for PS4 http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2014-ps1-ps2-games-heading-to-ps4
