At least its one of the better exclusives on the PS3. If you want another shooter maybe wait for Killzone 2 and get Uncharted for now?

The game really drags you in... but it does so slowly. I would say it does take a while where the game seems .. medicore .. but suddenly you find yourself very engaged (you have to like stories though, cause that is where it really pulled me in.. after a little while..) .. So to sum up. It starts slowly and then it gets better and better .... its a really good game overall :).. also has a LONG campaign which is rare for a game these days. (and i haven't tried the online part of it)

And, yeah, tombi123, it does. Grimsby does make for a killer deathmatch map, though.

If you can, rent it, and DEFINITELY play it co-op :P It's so insane xD Although you can't take the co-op online >_>; which is a problem. But if you have some close friends to play with by all means do so :D

Did somebody ask "is resistance worth it?" and nobody answered "Resistance is futile." ??? I'm ashamed of all of you.

I enjoyed the singleplayer, which is rare for me considering I don't like FPS very much, especially console FPS.

Honestly rocketpig, everyone that has played through the entire campaign of resistance knows it starts of as a somewhat dull/boring game.

I thought the same, but as it kept going level by level it kept getting better and better, the last couple of levels are the best Ive yet witnessed in a FPS, and I do own Cod4.

Wait for Resistance 2.

did u play the demo off of psn? those levels are terrible.

no dont get it yet. get call of duty, then get resistance close to resistance 2 when its like 40 bucks so u can get used to the gameplay etc.
