No, if they are ports of Wii U games those will do piss all for sales because thwy are old games.  People don't by new hardware to play old games.  If it were Mario Kart 9, Smash 5, and Splatoon 2, that would be different.

still early game on Pokemon Sun, I like the change but the game feels kind of childish, where's the epic of the old games :S hopefully it gets better later on

Actually for people who didn't had Wii U those game are great new games same like for PS4 owners who didn't had PS3 The Last Of Us Remastered and Uncharted Collection were also great new games, and it seem that MK, Splatoon and Smash are MK8.5, Splatoon 1.5 and Smash Bros 4.5, basically more than just remaster not alone ports.

Tell that to PS4/XBO

PS4 has 4 games in the top 15 that are late ports/remasters (GTA #2, Uncharted Collection #10, Last of Us #11, Minecraft #13)

XBO has 4 games in the top 15 that are late ports/remasters (GTA #3, Halo Collection #10, Gears Ultimate #11, Minecraft #14)

Last of US worked cause it was very recent, still fresh on people's minds.  Mario Kart 8 and Smash came out in 2014, Splatoon in 2015.  Collections are another, different issue, but that's not what we are talking about.  GTAV, same thing as Last of Us.  And if games are old enough, yes a remaster can be big news.  Splatoon, Kart, and Smash for Wii U all sit in the awkward place of being too recent for remasters and too old for a straight port.

But you just said the Last of Us Remasterd worked because it was just recent (about a year apart from PS3 to PS4 if I remember). What is too recent?
