The irony is that the same site you linked named this TV the winner in the categorie "Best picture quality 55 inch TVs - $1,500+"
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

How is that irony when the topic is about input lag and not picture quality?

The real irony is that upscaling 1080p to 4K was a concern for adding extra lag. It seems to be the other way around, tv upscaling is faster than displaying native content!
Lg oleds have awesome pq and 3d but their input lag is way too high and their hdr is not as good as some tvs. Get the samsung k8000 or a vizio. Sony tvs are good too

Input Lag is just ONE tiny aspect for video gaming on a TV, which is one tiny aspect for the overall TV.
Okay, just check which TV the same site named best TV for gaming:

Let us know which tv u decide to get. Just curious
Wait a year. 4K tech needs to mature first. 4K material is also in its infancy. Don't jump on the hype train, just because Pro is out. You'll probably regret your purchase a year later, if you just buy "good enough" for what is out now. I've done that with TV's before during the 3D hype. Something way better and cheaper came out a year later.

yeah seems i will do that. im not in a huge rush to upgrade, but i would like to do it sooner rather than later. but i kind of see it redundant to buy a new 1080p tv with no HDR. when in a few years i will be wanting to upgrade to 4k and HDR with the release of the PS5. i dont have a pro, and dont plan on buying actually. so i will wait and see. get something with good HDR, 4K, and input lag.
