I'm a FF fan and I despise VIII hahaha.

OT, if you dislike Pokemon games that's fine. I hate Elder Scrolls gams and I still live in a gaming forum xD.

You just can't handle Zell's awesomeness!

I can't handle Squall boredom and the combat system xDDD.  I'm willing to gave it another chance though.

Nice.
I hope the games do feel different tho. The old formula already feels old.

I mean it's been 20 years lol.

Critics so far love the small but noticeable changes. They're small enough to keep old fans happy, but big enough to attract new fans and those who got sick of the old formula

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Also, I'm really interested in a possible PoGo effect. Basically to know if Nintendo's strategy of using smartphone games to rise their franchises popularity will work in the dedicates gaming systems. That will be pretty interesting.

Given 3DS sales are up considerably, and the 3DS is doing really well on Amazon, and Pokemon is far more preordered globally than any previous entry and indeed more than any previous Nintendo game, I think the PoGo  effect is pretty much confirmed.

Mine isn't coming until next Tuesday! GAAAAH!

Yep, I think so. I'd like to know the actual numbers though. As for now, shipping 10M copies is insane xD.

Considering I pretty much like all Final Fantasy games aside from FF III, this statement is quite meaningless.

Either that or you're badmouthing all Final Fantasy fans, which infortunately includes you as well!

Nah, there's no other FF fan like me.

I'm one of a kind.

No one loves chocobos as you do, that's for sure.

Surprised IGN didn't say "Too Much Water" again.

Otero didn't review it for some reason which makes me quite salty, I really respect the guy for his reviews and I'm really interested in his opinion in the newest games given the (correctly imho) harsh review for ORAS

Too much water is still a stupid reason to lose points. Next he'd say Mario does too much jumping, or that Sonic does too much running.

Kallie Plagge reviewed ORAS, not Jose Otero.  She's the same person who reviewed Sun and Moon.

And if you read the entire review rather than reading memes or skipping to the pros and cons list, you would know that the reason for the "too much" water comment was that it caused a lack in variety due to excessive focus on water type battles while surfing and since surfing means you are always exposed to random encounters, it can kill pacing either due to unwanted battles or constantly stopping to re-apply Repels.

even GM Peer called her 'too much water' on one of the NVC episodes, and they are all laughing about it.  it seems that the 9.0 is a solid score and Kallie is able to redeem herself.  She is also an avid pokemon fan.
