Still find this logic funny, FF13 which by many fans is considered one of the worse FF games still outsold all those 'western' RPGs. Why is SE playing catchup when it still has the biggest RPG franchise in the world? They should be playing to their strengths, not copying other games which aren't as popular and/or sold fewer.

I only bought FFXIII because I thought it would offer more variety content, and in the end I just played it once and sold my copy on ebay after that. Never played XIII-2 and so forth.

Casual gamers will not be picking up final fantasy and i doubt they have the attention span to play a game like FFXV. That being said, maybe the game does have pacing issues?

Man, this confirms all my fears about Final Fantasy 15.
After playing FF13-2-3 I though "My Lord, how stupid and overcomplicated can these plots get?"
And when I saw the Zoolander entourage driving their super car I though "This is going to be the most ridiculous style over substance ever released in a videogame, ever..."
And it seems I was correct.
Final Fantasy 1: less is more.
Simple plot, humble beginnings to heroic fate, it is a classic archetype plotline. It works.
4 male models in leather checking out wedding dresses: does not work.
What a waste of time, money and resources...
Sadly, I am calling it: FF15 is another failure. Gamewise, of course. I am sure, SURE, it will sell millions.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Different strokes. I don't like FPS. Doesn't mean they are bad games, they just aren't for me. This is kinda the same thing only blown up to epic proportions due to a celeb.
