Meh.

Nothing will ever beat Metalocalypse. Metalocalypse's parodies actually make sense, and are funny as hell. Dethklok's music kicks ass as well. This, however, just shows that the writers don't know jack about metal, and it basically says "the music is shit, but it's SO HARDCORE!"

 It is just meant to be funny, and the guy who made it plays in a metal band so I think he knows his stuff.

 Sorry.  I'm probably just taking it too seriously.  My jazz guitar teacher at UNO has been going off on a lot of anti-metal rants lately, and it makes me rather defensive about the genre. 

you know the blurb above the video isn't really all that accurate. The point wasn't that all metal sounds the same, the joke was making fun of people who apply tons of useless and ridiculous genre labels to shit that is essentially the same genre.
