You can analyze the votes, who was eager to vote for people, etc. You obviously run the risk that you kill an important role (assuming this isn't vanilla, I don't recall if it has been declared as such), but without the lynch, you effectively give the mafia a free night and we start day 2 with little more than we had on day 1. With the little we currently have, I'm going to put a vote out for Stefl. I feel like his not wanting a day 1 vote, plus really questioning those who do reeks of him wanting to get to night and avoid something catastrophic for the mafia. Vote: Stefl |

It would seem entirely possible that you slipped, knowing full well the power of the mafia team, thus being able to deduce approximately how powerful the townies are. |
I believe you did the same thing. If you're a townie, then you'd have no reason to assume it isn't vanilla(by your definition of the term) regardless of whether you are one or not. But you were first on Stefl, so I don't think it likely for you to scummates.
Stefl's defense hasn't been bad in my eyes, but the explanation of it hasn't been the greatest. It was easy to scoff at prof's vote, but seems natural to react with 3 votes plus a FoS that was stated to be equivalent to a vote by FF. But he didn't state that, and turning it back at prof was cringeworthy. I think Stefl's better than that. I have nothing against a Stefl lynch, but I don't want toDay's only options to be him or No Lynch.(I am not taking spurge or prof's lynch trains to be viable at this point)
@pro-town Survivors: Yes, a Survivor can certainly choose to side with town, but two examples of such does not make it pro-town. In fact if it can win with scum and chooses not to, then it is not Playing to Win, which is debateably modkillable. I will never trust any third-party unless it's some strange setup in which they become mod-confirmed pro-town.
