show me another game with real 3d movement before mario 64, from the playstation or from any system. then your argument is going to be valid.

As I already pointed, my argument is independant of it being or not the first 3D platformer.

But oh well, here is one link: http://www.retrocollect.com/Articles/what-was-the-first-true-3d-platformer.html

You can google "first 3D platformer" or something like it to get to wikipedia and other articles for more stuff to read about the subject as well.

"Jumping Flash' also predates 'Super Mario 64' by almost a year thus busting the myth a lot of people seem to believe which is that 'Super Mario 64' was the first modern day 3D Platformer."

so what you're telling me is Nintendo copied this jumping flash thing that nobody remembers in less than a year and made a way better game than this first person platformer WITHOUT A CHARACTER WITHOUT REAL 3D MOVEMENTS in less than a year? then that's a better accomplishment!!!...or maybe mario 64 was in development for more than a year? hmmm I'm not sure, jumping flash looks complex asf even more complex than mario 64 so maybe was in development for a decade... hehe. After mario 64 3d platformers were real 3d platformers, not after jumping flash, a game WITHOUT A CHARACTER AND WITHOUT REAL 3D MOVEMENTS... and I can't wait to collect things on yooka laylee, a game that follows the mario 64 formula and not the jumping flash formula.

Super Mario 64 or Banjo Kazooi? I love Banjo. I think it was the teddy bears picnic music and the settings I fell in love with. It was like walking through a fairytale :)

Super Mario 64 has severe camera-issues that really breaks the game for me.

I HATED the ending to The Last of Us.

What made you hate it? Just curious because I know a lot of people who loved the game and played it many times over but hated the ending because: 1) it gave them no option although they understand why 2) it felt like a cliffhanger ending 3) they weren't ready for the game to end at that point. It left them feeling a bit empty

Omg you don't like magical music?! :o I never managed to beat the witch :(

why did they categorize persona as rpg again? Most of the thing you do us reading, reading, and more reading

It's a matter of timing: SM64 heralded the industry's transition from 2d to 3d gaming and what better franchise than Mario, an icon of 2d gaming, to do this? Also cemented the need for thumbsticks in future controllers thereafter. 3d gaming to this day needs them.

That may be so, but the game's timing or influence is a whole different topic. The game is judged as an independent piece of its own, which personally I think its very undewhelming.

the music is not bad at all, but I don't like it for some reason.  I just find everything annoying lol! so it's not about the gameplay, it's about the universe!
