. Not working directly on SOCOM Confrontation but assissting. Rumoured to be working on a new SOCOM game currently employ less than 100

SOCOM 4 is coming, however, they are waiting until Confrontation is released before giving out the slightest details on it. If people would hear about SOCOM 4 now, it would kill any hype drawn up by Confrontation.

Biggest letdown by far is SCEJ

I have little hope for Confrontation.  Sure it's a throwback to Socom 2, with many maps being remade, but it's being developed by Slant Six, and their PSP Socom was less than stellar.

I need my SOCOM fix so knowing me I'll probably buy it.

Good lists everywhere, the only complaint I have is that the Sony list contains the new Genji....I never knew Genji actually won an award from "IGn for most Giant Enemy Crabs on Playstation 3 in 2006."

I care to disagree with sony having the best 1st party support, but I see most of these games coming out 2009-2010.

Seeing as sony has a diversy line up of games while their closest competitor is 95% childish games.

Sony is easy best 1st party dev, no matter what you like you can get something good from Sony.

Name 5 child games nintendo made in the last year.

In the population sony may have the largest, but in games nintendo has dozens of series out, and dozens they could revive. So largest in developers yes, in games no.

name 5 that aren't rated e, i can name Metroid but other then that.

Good call, everyone knows that games rated E are for kids only!!  Only real mature people play games where you shoot people for fun!

I always get a chuckle out of this logic.

To Each Man, Responsibility

Well by seeing those dev's there im sure most games will be released starting from holiday 2008 and on..

The future looks good i must say, i want getaway 3 please

I like technology when its moving forward..

PSN: methys

Nice to see everyone stayed on topic :)

Hi, i'm solojohlo and i'm pretty fucking awesome

I never knew the scale at which Sony's 1st part support was at , no wonder the PS2 murdered last generation.

It's quite late in the generation for Sony to completley dominate however with good timing Sony will probbaly end up a good 2nd this time round.

It does beg the question...what the hell is Sony doing with all it's resources?

Home, PSN, and constant firmware updates must account for a large amount of Sony's developers. Still for the sheer amount of studios and devs, not many titles have been released.

I'm expecting at least one surprise game announced at E3, with a possible release date of 08'.
