People determine who gets into power. If Republicans lose this year, it will be because their candidate was a moron who insulted Hispanics the first day of his candidacy and has consistently alienated women (the no.1 voting block) throughout his campaign.

It's not a "conspiracy", its basic demographics and math, something that eludes people on the right for whatever reason.

No they don't, the Electoral College does. That's why Gore lost in 2000.

But in 2000, there was only one faithless elector, who abstained from voting.  If she had instead voted for Gore, wouldn't he still have lost 267-271 due to Florida?  I don't see how the Electoral College determined this, it was more the Supreme Court that had a bigger influence on the election.

Clinton is up in the popular vote too, but electoral vote is what matters and Republicans can wail and thrash about that if they want, but they said that was fair game in 2000 when Bush won so they have no legs to stand on even if that does happen.

Interesting. What is the percentage of each candidate's popular vote so far?

44% Trump, 43% Clinton. http://www.investors.com/politics/donald-trump-leads-hillary-clinton-with-more-states-in-play-ibdtipp-poll/

it differs depending on what poll you look at but i read this was the most accurate poll nationwide the last two election. As of right now, your claim seems to be right about Trump winning popular but Clinton getting the Electoral vote. But all of this is so close it is in the margin of error that it could go either way.

Thanks for showing me this poll.

By the way, the guy who really pushed the Soros conspiracy theory

How do you classify "Hillary is Soros puppet" as a conspiracy theory but think "Trump is Putin puppet" isn't?

I doubt any doomsday will happen with either.

I agree. I know neither candidates are likeable, but to say that doomsday will happen because of one candidate winning the election is ridiculous imo.

I am voting for Trump and hoping for a brexit style upset. I agree strongly with Trump's immigration policies. I am also mixed racially and medium brown/tan skin so at least you can't pin me down as a stereotype redneck. I have nothing against south america or muslims as people, but their culture does bother me. I also see that we need to force change on Mexico. Their country needs to get better and also act responsibly. Of course their past president hates Trump. That is the president that led their people out of their country because he isn't getting the job done.

Polls mean nothing to me for many reasons. I will tell you I had zero faith in Romney beating Obama, even right before Sandy Romney had a slight lead in most national polls. I knew Romney would get crushed, but I truly believe that Trump has a chance to suprise people. If he does or even makes it close, I think it's incredible given how biased the media and entertainment industry is against him and how they want to guilt us and shove down their hate agenda. Trump is my JFK honestly. The one and only issue I would like to see him change his beliefs on is environmentalism. Other than that, Trump deserves his own party because I would vote for him over these two, every time.

How late in Pacific Time (Best time) do we need to stay up Tuesday night for the results again?

I have no idea tbh.

People think of doomsday because the candidates are shit but people should need to worry more about global warming than this. American Politics is soley on fear mongering.
