I think some people forget this game might suffer from Bethesditis and Falloutitis when it finally arrives...

There are about 2 PS4 every XB1 in the world. And that, assuming the same attach rate, would make it 66%. Plus few million PS4 are in Japan, against a nearly zero XB1. More Japanese PS4 will come just for this game. Since FF VII Final Fantasy is traditionally a PlayStation game. I say around 85%. Probably more.

How can PS4 being twice the userbase of X1 and the genre being more relevant in PS4, PS4 having the FF7 remake and remaster, etc make it have a lower attach ration on PS4 than X1 to achieve 60-40?

I think that will be 93-95% for the PS4 against 5-7% for the Xbox One
The Xbox One will struggle between 500-800 thousands units.
Metal Gear Solid V even with 2 mainline games on the Xbox One and, despite having Pew-Pew, it sold only 1 million.

The last Final Fantasy, if I remember well, sold over 1.6-1.8 millions in Japan alone. That is a extremely high userbase in a region where the Xbox has 0 of userbase.

Not to mention games are not developed on a console. Games are developed on a PC. The PC matches the specs, but it's as easy as running it on both machines and minimizing details. I have no idea why a game would release on Steam and not on Xbox One. Of course, if the rumor Xbox requires publishers to print at least 200,000 discs, then I can see why they'd hesitate to port the game over to our console. If so, we're safe. This game will probably surpass Fallout 4's sales.
Well said Slade. No gamer should be left behind simply because they hate a specific brand. I like Bethesda but despise their Softworks team. Does this entail not getting BGS games anymore?
Besides, people forget this Final Fantasy's very Western even by Final Fantasy standards.

And it seems that you doesn't consider the fact that Final Fantasy is one of the biggest franchises in Japan and the actual data that we have about Pre-orders. Even on the USA(where is the majority of the Xbox Ones sold) things aren't looking good for the Xbox One's version.
Would be awesome if this game sells more than Fallout 4 sold on the Xbox One, with the Xbox One version. Since, if that happens, the game will surpass 25 millions of units sold on the PS4 alone.

If we were to predict the US/UK ratio, but I believe the OP is asking for the worldwide ratio...

Because they had a showcase on Microsoft's E3 conference this year.
