I played the originals on PS3 and really loved them. The atmosphere was brilliant, the combat was great and both games were packed with sub-missions etc. I still own the games on PS3 but was interested in buying the remaster/enhanced version on PS4 but alot of people are equating it to the Silent Hill Collection of this generation(a terrible remaster essentially). Is it really that bad?
Game looks better mostly, but it is brighter. It's definitely not bad, it's currently the best version of the games, but if you've played them before it's not a big step up.
I bought this today. Mainly for Asylum, because its the only game in the franchise I never played. I beat them all from City to Arkham Knight. Must admit I quite liked origins and really wanted to see that game get the remaster treatment, especially as the original had performance issues. Quite ironic that I ended up buying Origins on Wii U because it wasn't as buggy as the other versions.
