Forums - Gaming - Ubsisoft is making me sick of open world season passes

I already had this game preordered but as you know the Watchdog Season Pass was revealed. The missions and extra that are to be expected will roll out over the from December to other early months in spring 2017 (as has been said by gamespot). This practice is not good, especially seeing that these guys are not providing full blown expansions. GTA and the Witcher 3 are the only open world games that have permissable late attachment dlc/ expansions since they add to the core of the title. They arent just cosmetic and bring longevity to the game. Artifiially stretching out a game just for the sake of profit with needless dlc is exactly what soured the taste of Arkham Knight when we were expecting great things.

With that said, I am known to play games more than once, so I could just wait it out IF and only if the campaign and multiplayer are worth a damn.

We shall see friends, but this is will be the last time Invest in this capacity from any developer that I do not trust. Ubisoft is at the top of this list. The preorder mission for Zodiac killer is annoying enough as it is. Im getting burned out.

Season passes for singleplayer games seem weird to me anyway. As if I'm playing that game for longer than a month.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

The only season pass i ever bought was for a single player game. It was for the Witcher 3. albiet, they already said it was two expansions, one being 10hours long and the other 20 hours. so 30 hours of content.

Season passes never seem to be worth it tbh.

Not buying season passes. It contains a lot of crap like skins and useless stuff. I wait until release of the DLC, when it is for a new campaign or something like that.

The Witcher 3 made me believe in the right concept of creating a season pass. Games like Arkham Knight and Ubisoft titles are seriously trying. Rockstar is worth it for sure though.

I can understand if the Season Pass is worth it, but Ubisoft is playing games with extra additions that at large are worth no more than fifteen to twenty dollars.$40 is almost as much as a full games asking price.
