I am. Going to be my 2016 shooter now that the final version is about to be released on PS4/PC

There's a beta this weekend, I read, but haven't seen if it's open or invite only

KF1 was probably the last time i really enjoyed an online shooter (Red Orchestra 2 as well but that had some technical issues unfortunately)

I'll be checking it out, I didn't play the first one. No idea if I'll like it or not.

Is it a game that's still enjoyable solo? Or do you have to play it with friends to have fun.

If by solo you mean playing with randoms online, sure, doesn't need to be with people you know. Solo as in just yourself, not really
