It's probably checkerboard 4k, built from a 1800p native render. It's debatable if even the Scorpio could scale the PS4's 1st party 1080p titles to native 4k, so it's not something we should expect from the Pro.

Second Son already looks gorgeous. Its problems are related to game design, something upscaling simply can't fix.

Second Son is much easier as far as the plat goes.
