Nintendo via their official Twitter page has confirmed that Pokémon Sun & Pokémon Moon are set to be massive hits: the two titles became the most downloaded Demo on a Nintendo console earlier this week (the Demo has been available for only 8 days) and now they are also the most pre-sold games in Nintendo's history. This goes along with Nintendo's latest financial briefing which reported that the pre-orders for the titles are doing extremely well, outpacing those of Omega Ruby and Alpha Saphire.

This massive boost is likely caused by the popularity of Pokémon GO, released back in July of this year and that caused an unprecedented spike in the sales and preorders of Pokémon games.
