Accourding to my latest Game Informer Magazine, "Loose Talk has even heard that some within EA are considering a move to console manufacturing -- the hitch being that EA is waiting to see if the PS3 picks up its sales by 2010"

 So, If EA started making consoles, what do you guys think?

Would you buy an EA-System?

Do you think it would sell, sell mediocrely, or be a flop?

Names?

Would EA pull all of its titles from other systems? 

Tell me what you think.

No. It will have the same lack of innovation as the 360 and PS3 and will flop against the Wii for the same reasons.

Well EA sells much software. if you check the software charts, for the past couple of years EA mostly in the top 3. So there console may sell well if they only made games for that console, bt i dnt fink it would happen. i wouldnt buy 1 unles it was really cheap.

I think if they produced a handheld system I would be interested but the home console market is saturated as it is.

It would work only if they kept their titles exclusive for their own console, they would also have to have a massive launch with at least 5 of their top game series coming out as well as a few not so big ones.

Yeah this has been done be4 like beginning of last week or something, and the basic response was "no they wont" they do have allot of games up their sleeves but from a marketing point of view they now make games that sell across like 7 or so different platforms and then to take all of that away and put it on one system is a huge gamble…
