This doesn't looks in line with your prediction, if pre orders in the west are SO MUCH higher than ORAS / XY, how do you predict 15 million when when all is said and done, ORAS should be +15 million and XY +17 million?

About the same of ORAS, and less than XY with those massive pre orders? I can understand if you expect worse legs (which should be expect), but really SO MUCH worse?

Oh, I've adjusted my expecations some since then. I'm expecting 18m lifetime now. While the preorders are great, we shouldn't forget that they were boosted by the Pokemon Go effect, and Pokemon Go is rapidly declining in popularity now. We also shouldn't forget that 3DS is approaching the end of it's life now, that will affect Sun and Moons legs, much like it affected Black and White legs when it released towards the end of DS' life. 

Well then 18 million could be a reasonable prediction. Though i'm confident with mine +20m.

Legs will be worse yes, but launch will be massive. In the west, at least.
