We have received a fantastic response from all over the world to the Nintendo Switch reveal video presented above. We are not able to share each qualitative comment and response from consumers today. However, one example is the number of views we have received on our YouTube accounts. The total number of views just on our official YouTube Channels has already reached 23 million views worldwide and still growing. The reaction from our YouTube viewers has been overwhelmingly positive. We are very confident that a lot of consumers around the world have become interested in Nintendo Switch.

Yup, actually it kinda surprises me that so few people don't like the concept, probably the rumors/leaks turned out to be beneficial for Nintendo because many people were expecting exactly this from Nintendo...

Well, everyone except for the investers, but they are always terrified of new things (specially now that Nintendo actually has mobile games). Did Nintendo's shares go down back when they announced the Wii?

Hmm, Nintendo is using youtube for social or media impact. Those youtube view threads don't seem that silly anymore :p.

Well to be fair, we only know the launch month.  That could be a really low ball move or a bold one depending on whether it launches March 1 or March 21.  So we'll see. 

Remember the hype they created when Wii was out of stock all the time for like 2 years? Everybody and his dog wanted one. I was desperately trying to find one for my younger bro one xmas. Couldn't get one anywhere but luckily my GF at the time sold me hers 😀 he was soooooo hyped to open that wii cos he knew you couldn't get them anywhere so didn't expect one

2m shipment until end of March, and Switch will most likely be launched in last week of March.

Its strange but its smart move, because people until than will not constantly asking Nintendo when we will have more Switch infos.

And yeah, I would say he's fair in claiming that. About 18.5 million views on the main Nintendo channel alone in 7 days (closer to 23 to 25 million when you factor in their regional stuff), most big YouTubers and their audiences praising the thing (Angry Joe, Boogie, Jim Sterling, Gamexplain, etc), it's a great first impression.
