Nope. Nintendo wants to replace the WiiU. They may have enough hope on the 3DS to leave it alive as a budget option, but the WiiU? That system has been holding Nintendo back since it launched, and I'm sure they are really glad they are going to replace it soon.

Thats a rumor.

Nintendo themselves have actually said it doesnt, give any extra performance.

We have a thread about it called "Nintendo: Switch dock only for charging and TV-out".

I have a feeling that there will additional hardware with improved rendering capacities in the future.
