I would say yes.

Black Ops 3 owners played the game online for more than 75 million hours combined from Friday through Sunday, according to a press release.    That's atleast 1 million players and if they all played 72 hours non stop...But 12 hours on average would mean atleast 6 million people so 1-3 million first day must be certainly true.

yup easily, but still insane numbers for BF. I mean Bo3 had like 5 1/2 months after launch still over 500 K Player on PS4, then add like 300K from Xbox One !!! Cod or lets say Bo3 was/is still a freakin monster ! Its sad that Activision is hiding such numbers and it had to be figured out through a glitch, which they quickly removed then^^

I still have no idea how IW/MW will do, but this cleary is the best chance for BF to propably ever come this close or outsell Cod !

Just because Cod gets a lot of hate and like all people love BF on the internet doesnt mean this speaks for 100%, its only a small amount actually and there are so many that just dont care.

Although CoD games don't have player counts anymore starting with Advanced Warfare and there's no website such as bf1stats.com for CoD, it probably does. Black Ops 3 actually had a glitch which enabled you to reveal the hidden in-game player count, it showed that at one point the game had 517.356 players online at the same time on PS4 back in March.

1 million across the 3 platforms at launch really doesn't sound unlikely.

Even a shitstain like CoD Ghosts numbered like 260k on XB1 just 1 month into the generation.

Oh wow i haven't seen so much players online. The highest I saw was around B02 launch was like 400k.

Also COD Ghosts is a pretty good COD.

Hoping this one remains popular on PC, because I refuse to play 90p Conquest lol.

PC: 173,490 (24h peak: 179,935)

XBOXONE: 229,318 (24h peak: 266,869)

PS4: 356,192 (24h peak: 358,182)

Total: 759,000

PS4 motoring on ahead!

pc gaming is really declining when even games like battlefield just have half the playerbase on pc compared to ps4

Considering Pre-Order sales are down and the hate bandwagon is growing, I don't think so.

Which is excatly why I'm lowering my expectations to get a gaming PC as more people play on Consoles. Scorpio and Pro might not be a bad idea after all.

PC gaming as a whole isn't declining. It's just for many triple A games like Battlefield or cod consoles are taking over the marketshare.
