Uhhh, why is Rise of the Tomb Raider listed as exclusive? And it's not because of the 20th Celebration thing, since Major Nelson confirmed it is releasing on Xbox One too.

Why do they count Sun and Moon as two separate games? They are two versions of the same game. Also, I don't quite believe the VR Arkaham game is as anticipated as they say. By a lot.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Nielsens arguably more credible than NPD. Can't say there's much really in this info graphic that's surprising though

Interesting. Unless purchase interest = pre-orders, they didn't draw on that data at all.

*edit* lol tried to post the picture in the article here but I guess they don't let you do that.... So here is a workaround

Methodology

Nielsen Game Rank™ represents the overall anticipation level among gamers on each platform, based on a combination of several key measures (including awareness, purchase interest, consumer rating and others). The percent value shown reflects how strong the overall anticipation level is for the title, relative to the pre-release anticipation levels of all previous titles that released on the platform(s). Values shown for multi-platform titles are averages of the values from each release platform. Titles included are those being released between Oct. 1, 2016 - Dec. 31, 2016, that have a Game Rank™ of 75% or higher. Data was collected by surveying 6,000 gamers age 7 to 54 between Aug. 21, 2016 - Sept. 24, 2016.

Looks good for FFXV and Da Last Guardian!

No way is Batman Return To Arkham higher than Dead Rising 4, WatchDogs 2 :O

Two remaster games that look worse than the original beating two new sequels wat.

I don't think any of this hype-statistics are really trustworthy. They are just naming the more popular games coming out, which anyone on this website could have said, instead of this weird anticipation percentage.

kinda weird to me that Arkham is more anticipated than Skyrim. Skyrim sold a ton and looks to be a lot bigger difference plus the Arkham games on last gen played fine unlike Skyrim which had severe performance issues on 7th gen consoles

I am Iron Man

I'm pretty sure each category is independently measured, so you should only look at percentages relative to other percentages in the same category.  I mean, just look at Color Splash, that's awfully high unless what I said is true in which case the lack of releases would help prop it up a bit.  And with all that in mind, it makes sense.  Arkham doesn't have much competition.  Rise of the Tomb Raider has been out on PC and Xbone for a while and The Last Guardian is a niche style thing.  And Batman is a very strong brand and VR is a fascinating new thing.

Arkham VR? What? Did they survey the 100 owners of PSVR for that percentage?
