I agree. I'm currently having a lot of fun with my PSVR.
But only time will tell if I still use it regulary when the honeymoon is over in 2 months, 6 months or even a year.

Nice to see some grounded opinions from new PSVR owners.
Of course the first time reactions are going to be wild and full of excitement. Anyone remember the Wii, waggle waggle the whole family is smiling, even 80 year old grandma wants some action. Or Kinect? How cool would it be to play FPS games without controller, like holding imaginary gun in your hands and shooting BANG BANG BANG. 3DTV is the game changer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GRJb95lFEU. When is Hololens coming out by the way?
Right.
Hyperbole needs to be pretty strong if few reaction videos is all it takes to prove a new gadget's worth.
VR has the potential but it's not guaranteed at all that PSVR is capable of reaching it. If we compare the games only, as it is now the VR games are small scale compared to traditional console games. People will keep playing the new CoD and Fifa for a whole year hundreds of hours. Is VR offering currently anything with that kind of replayability? My guess is NO, the current VR content will dry up fast and after that will come the realization that there is not much on the horizon in the near future. But there are shitloads of traditional games coming.
And in the long term, how will people actually feel about the experience. I think it is fair to say playing in VR is a lot more draining compared to traditional and it would not be a shock to find out that people just don't have the energy to keep on experiencing VR constantly. Some days you just want to kick back and take it easy. Can the flower beds and ocean floors in VR actually produce a relaxing result or will it just keep draining your energy?
There are a lot of unknowns and lots of known things against VR in 2016 and 2017. PSVR could very well end up being a fad simply because of its limitations in technology. I've said it before and I'll say it again, these Vive, Oculus and PSVR will look like childplay in a few years when the tech starts to improve.
Good sales don't necessarily mean anything. Kinect already had cleared the first hurdles and managed to build a solid install base and we all know what happened after. I do hope PSVR sells well since Sony has invested some top dollar in this product and hopefully Sony will get at least majority of their money back.
I cannot imagine toilet-free life.
Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.
