some of you realize that almost every console from pre-2000 when adjusted for inflation would be over 300$ right? some up to like 500$ and beyond.

300/350$ is not a lot for a console that is expected to last you a generation. Whats hilarious is some of you will act as if something being 200 or 250$ would magically make it some sort of bargain compared to 300$ or around. you're talking about potentially 50/100$ difference for something you may use for YEARS

Nintendo will be perfectly fine in that price range with the NX if it truly does end up being a fantastic device for both home gaming and portable gaming. There never really has been a successful combination of the two before, its a lot of value if it works 

$300 sounds about right, if it is going to be a portable system that can link to the tv and produce near or equal to the current basic Xbox One/PS4 standards.

As far as sales go, I think that will be determined more by how Nintendo markets it. I really hope they delay its release until late summer or early fall because anything soon would be dangerous given the lack of hype or awareness for it or any major software outside of Zelda.
