Griffth crippled himself? Ha, I knew he didn't cripple Guts!

Ffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck, I screwed up there.
#TeamSerpico
No way around it, he amazes the shit out of me since he dueled Guts and was not crushed. Great character too.

Griffith is capable enough of beating Guts. Miura knows that, and anyone who thinks Berserk will somehow end with Gust defeating Griffith is in for a surprise.
One only has to read a tiny bit of Berserk to see that unlike most publications, Berserk's progression goes against the traditional way, which is what makes it so unique. Now apply that principle to the much expected Gust vs Griffith battle and you should realize who's going to win.

In a very metaphorical sense, what you said is actually true.

Well, I could agree with the notion that Griffith crippled basically everyone.
| BraLoD said: Miura himself already said he don't think he can let a story that's already so sad end on a sad note. |
Miura also says a lot of things but the way he captures them into the progression doesn't really follow-up.
All I know is that you'll hear me laughing when Miura finishes Berserk and you realize just how much things you wish sometimes don't come true.

Like Griffith screwed himself?

Not really, otherwise you would have seen your loved one being abused in front of you.
| BraLoD said: Nah, Guts is definitely beating the shit out of Griffith, not a single doubt about it. |
Just to let you know, your so called "Miura says he don't think he can" statement source also has the same Miura saying that a happy ending is "possible", but that it's "hard to say what could happen", and that ultimately he would leave it to his subconscious when it comes to it.
